This isn't a Bible study.

You don't have to be a Christian, know what you believe, or have all the answers to be part of OPEN.

It's a space for people who are curious about God, faith, spirituality, and truth. People who enjoy asking difficult questions, hearing different perspectives, and exploring ideas they may have never considered before.

We explore questions like:

• Is truth something we discover, or something we decide for ourselves?

• If God is good, why is there so much suffering?

• How do we know if the Bible can actually be trusted?

• Who was Jesus, and why does what we believe about him matter?

You can share your perspective, challenge an idea, disagree, or simply listen. The goal isn't to convince everyone to believe the same thing. It's to make room for honest conversations that leave us thinking long after they're over.

OPEN gathers seasonally in the spring and fall, with our next season beginning in March 2027.

Why OPEN exists

I created OPEN because I know what it's like to have questions and not know where to bring them.

I spent years as an atheist, followed by years exploring New Age spirituality, manifestation, consciousness, and different ideas about how the world works.

And more than once, I was convinced I'd found the truth.

I also had strong opinions about Christianity, despite never really taking the time to explore whether what I believed about it was actually true.

What eventually made a difference wasn't someone trying to win an argument or convince me I was wrong.

It was being surrounded by people who welcomed my questions, challenged my thinking, and gave me the freedom to explore without feeling judged.

That experience stayed with me.

Today, my faith is rooted in Jesus, but I haven't forgotten what it feels like to be on the other side of belief, questioning everything.

That's why OPEN exists.

To create a space where we can be curious, challenge what we think we know, learn from one another, and pursue truth together.
